Monte Rio Gardens Bed & Breakfast

The staff were great—very helpful and quick to respond. The location is close to everything, and breakfast is delicious. The futon beds were thick enough. We were repeat guests, having stayed here two years ago, and noticed the cleanliness hadn’t been maintained as well as before. We encountered large cockroaches in our bathroom twice, and blankets weren’t provided unless requested.

I appreciate the guards and staff—they were very helpful, kept the cars in the parking, and assisted with parking. Nathan at reception was very nice, and I also liked that the hotel is near everything: a food court, McDonald’s, KFC, 7/11, and just 7 minutes from Hundred Island. The cabinet in the room was very old and broken.

Excellent customer service, tasty breakfast, great air conditioning, and a very central location close to all shops and restaurants. Thin blankets and no smart TV.

The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and it was very comfortable. The staff were helpful and provided excellent service. Breakfast was good; I recommend trying both Alaminos longanisa and bangus. The location is very central yet quiet, with easy access to restaurants and convenience stores. They arranged breakfast for us in the gazebo area, which was very nice. This is my third stay in Monterio, and I’ll keep coming back! A minor improvement would be to upgrade to a smart TV for Netflix or YouTube access, and the blankets are a bit thin.

The staff are adorable and helpful. The location is very pleasant with greenery around the house, yet it’s in the heart of the city. It’s a haven of peace within the city.
