The bed was comfortable. Everything was basically there, set up simply. Check‑in was difficult; why is there no self‑check‑in? I was looking forward to a small fridge in the room, but discovered it was actually a freezer, so everything was frozen :( The toilet smelled.

Very friendly and considerate, not intrusive. I felt pampered and learned how to brew and drink traditional Frisian tea 😃👍🏻. Thanks 😊 Plenty of parking. I could store and charge my e‑bike. I liked that the shower had a great shelf and no plexiglass divider, just a washable fabric curtain. Nothing negative to mention.

The people were incredibly warm; you arrive as a stranger and leave as a friend, and the stay was lovely, the breakfast was lovingly prepared, and the dog was very welcome.

I stayed with my dog for four nights and was warmly received, the hosts were very friendly, everything was clean and tidy, the central location was great for walks and local excursions, and I’ll definitely come back next time. – Christian Bell
