The location was great, the staff were friendly, and the service was solid. The only downside was the sheer number of stairs—almost 100 just to reach the room.

This is a beautiful hotel that pays close attention to art, design, and lovely details. The pool is a real relaxing spot with a stunning city view, and everything was clean and well maintained. Because the Studio and the pool were so appealing, I ended up booking two extra nights. Room service is available, though I didn’t use it because there are plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance. A truly special hotel that I would definitely recommend! Initially, I booked the Loft, but I immediately regretted it. The Loft is located outside the hotel (under the castle) and had a strong musty mold smell—no pleasant room. Luckily, the Studio was still available. The manager first asked for an extra 400 lari (!) while Booking listed a different price, but it was eventually resolved. The staff room right next to the Studio feels a bit awkward; the door was open, so you could see the staff during their breaks. More privacy for both guests and staff would be appreciated. The bed in the Studio creaked quite a bit, and the mattress felt fairly hard and possibly a bit old. A more comfortable bed/mattress would improve the stay. The breakfast buffet wasn’t consistently fresh or inviting, though the yogurt and omelet were fresh and tasty.

The room was fantastic and unique, quite quirky. You could actually see the Mother of Georgia status from the bathroom! The rooftop pool and views were exceptional!. Breakfast was a little underwhelming for the cost. The buffet was a bit odd and the food looked tired. But the omelettes were made fresh. Some staff were young and really not bothered, no one explained anything when we arrived
We absolutely adored the location, the beautiful grounds, and the service—polite but not intrusive. We’re already looking forward to staying again after our trip to Kazbegi and spending two more nights here. The beds were incredibly comfy with plenty of pillows, so we slept very well. I also really liked how my eggs were cooked for breakfast, the tasty homemade compot, and the pancakes stuffed with cottage cheese—yum.
