“Tout était parfait”
I found exactly what we were looking for: a slice of paradise in a peaceful haven surrounded by nature, in a quirky accommodation with all the comfort and necessary touches, tastefully decorated. The hosts were very welcoming and the meals were delicious!
“Super gezellig houten huis in de bergen!”
In and especially outside the house, there are plenty of seating spots with cozy lighting. The pool offers a fantastic view and is shared with several other guests. The cabin is very well equipped. For us it was no problem, but be aware of a narrow, unpaved driveway about 300 m long.
The two hosts’ welcome is fantastic. The place tucked into the mountains is magical, and everything is tastefully decorated.
“Small quirky accommdation”
The place is a small, quirky spot with a nice location, peaceful vibes, and easy access to trails. The kitchen is well equipped, and the warm knitted socks were a nice touch. The hosts were responsive and the room stays cool in the heat because it doesn't get much direct sunlight. However, privacy is limited since all seating areas face another accommodation just a few metres away and the driveway. We were only given coffee for one day even though we stayed five days, and the hosts seemed a bit greedy with extra charges and minimum provisions (like bathroom soap and kitchen basics) that we would expect for the price. They accepted an extra day at the start of our stay but then refused to allow us to cut a day at the end, which felt unfair. If you’re taller than 170 cm, be careful – I hit my head a lot. The space is very compact with steep, narrow stairs and low doorways.
The accommodation is lovingly furnished down to the smallest detail, and the hosts are very tidy.
