Breakfast offers many choices, including gluten‑free granola and fresh local eggs you can boil yourself. Ladina, the hostess, is very friendly and helpful, suggesting hikes, strolls, or whatever you want to do. The room is spotless and the staff clearly work hard to make guests feel at home. I loved the handwritten notes from Ladina and the reading materials about the hotel’s history. The location is great—close to several worthwhile spots that aren’t too touristy or hectic, allowing peaceful walks. I was overall happy, but if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs because the church bells ring in the middle of the night and can wake you.
