“It was okay.”
The breakfast spread was solid, and the staff were friendly. We appreciated the location and the option of two pillow types. The lobby had a cute, modern vibe, but the rest of the hotel felt worn and dated. Our room was fine, yet the price seemed high; in Luotso we paid the same and got a sauna and fireplace in a truly contemporary room. The bathroom tiles appeared to have been merely painted over in spots, and there were noises leaking into the rooms.

The location is good and the hotel is tidy and cozy. During breakfast, none of the staff greeted us, even though the atmosphere was calm. Usually breakfast is warm and pleasant with good service and greetings, but some staff members did not acknowledge guests.
Everything was great overall. Tuesday had rain, but the other days were sunny and clear.
I love Hullu Poron’s location and atmosphere, plus the hotel has a nice sauna area and a good breakfast. The room lacked a shower niche and instead had a tub; the tap was broken, making washing up difficult, and there was no handheld shower. The hotel should at least offer bathrobes, even if it costs extra, to make sauna visits easier.
