The bungalows outside Chiang Mai were lovely, perfect for escaping the city, and the swimming pool was nice; the family running the place was very welcoming. The village of San Kamphaeng is far from tourist crowds, so biking around is a pleasure. Nothing was lacking.

The host was super sweet and welcoming, the place was clean, the pool was great, and it was awesome that bikes and scooters were free to borrow. The pool area was missing lounge chairs, and it seemed like a four‑legged creature could crawl into the hut 😆😆.

A quiet retreat from Chiang Mai that keeps you calm. It’s a bit far from the city center, so keep that in mind for travel. The owner is very helpful, and you can do laundry on site.

The pool is spotless and inviting, the rooms feel snug, and the owners are genuinely warm. They even let you borrow a scooter or bike for short trips. However, if you’re hoping to hit the city right after you leave the hotel, this spot isn’t ideal; it’s quite far out and Grab rides are pricey and slow. For us it worked out well since we’d already spent three nights in central Chiang Mai.
