“Best hostel in Chefchauoen”
Absolutely amazing hostel! Perfect location in the heart of Chef’s Medina, close to the taxi stand where all vans and taxis depart. The room was so clean, had a fan and everything else needed. Every floor has a communal area to hang out, beautifully Moroccan style. The top terrace has the best view. The toilets are very clean. Last but not least, the receptionist who accommodated us was so lovely, we instantly felt at home; he gave us all the help we needed. We even panicked because we couldn’t find suitable public transport to Tangier in the morning, and he told us about the shared van that runs every 20 minutes for 7 €/person. If you’re in the same situation, ask him; it’s a shared taxi van that takes people when it’s full (6 persons). We were 2 and only waited 10 minutes until the van was full. We were so glad he told us about this option, because online there are 40–50 € options per person. Overall, we would choose this place again and sorry for not knowing the name of the person who gave us a room, but thank you so much for your hospitality and help.
