The hotel offers lovely views and is spotlessly clean; Vhenzar at reception went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, being very friendly and helpful. The bar service was slow and the food was just okay, but breakfast service, the waitress, and the food were perfect.

The location was quiet, and check‑in was quick thanks to the lady at reception. I left navy shorts in the pool area and later received a call from a young lady who laughed at me and insulted me directly, saying “some Tesco home brand is it?” She hung up after 1 minute 14 seconds. I called back right away, but she answered, “You’re the shorts fella, are ya?” and hung up again after 20 seconds. I won’t return to a place where staff would mock an older guest for entertainment; the behaviour was cheap and reflected poorly on the leisure centre staff, though the hotel staff were less sinister. The call happened at 17:53.
