I was blown away by the room and the view from the balcony, but unfortunately, this hotel caters almost exclusively to Chinese casino-goers, which made for a pretty seedy atmosphere. The customer service was non-existent, and they even charged me $5 for a bucket of ice, which was just ridiculous. The advertised bar didn't even have a bar or sell cocktails, just wine and beer.

I was really looking forward to relaxing by the pool, but unfortunately, one of the beautiful pools that connects with the beach was closed, which was a major bummer. On the plus side, the room itself was luxurious and well-appointed, but there was a weird smell coming from the bathroom. I later realized it was the toilet, which was a bit of a gross-out. Still, I think the staff should have checked the room before letting me in.

The rooms at this hotel are seriously modern and sleek, but that's where the positives end. The menu at the restaurant was all Chinese, and it was impossible to find any Western food. To make matters worse, people were smoking everywhere, and the rooms smelled like a cigar factory. I also had a hard time getting a taxi, and not many staff spoke English, which made it tough to make requests.

The breakfast buffet was geared more towards Chinese guests, with lukewarm dishes and undrinkable coffee. Despite the issues, the room was great, and the pool made up for a lot.

We enjoyed the morning buffet and gym facilities, but the staff's lack of English skills made communication difficult. The hotel seemed to cater more to Chinese guests, which made it uncomfortable for those who didn't speak the language. The casino aspect of the hotel wasn't ideal for non-gamblers, and the Chinese staff's behavior was sometimes off-putting.
