The room was truly clean, and towels and toilet paper were replaced during our stay; the hostel overall felt tidy. However, whether the window was open or closed, there was always a smell in the room—like from the toilet or waste—when we returned, and the street noise was unavoidable, though the staff fairly warned us about it. It could be endured if you keep the window shut; it bothered me that if you miss closing the window in time, the cooking aroma from the bistro below seeps in.
