You can’t find a better spot at almost 2000 m asl in the middle of the mountains. It’s an old‑style place but cosy and clean. Just watch your head when you get out of the shower; otherwise it’s comfortable. The breakfast was served too late so I missed it. Since there’s no service between 8 pm and 8 am, it would be nice to have a kettle and a fridge in the room.

The place was quiet, with beautiful surroundings and hiking trails right at the chalet’s doorstep. The owner greeted us warmly and, luckily, spoke excellent French. The kitchen was extra spacious. Dogs were welcome, and the balcony was perfect for relaxing while watching the mountains. Nothing else to note.
