The breakfast was excellent, the hosts Sarah and John were wonderful (thank you so much for all your help and advice), the bed was comfy, the shower was excellent, parking was easy, and it was close to shops and very good restaurants—Forrester’s Arms is within walking distance and terrific. I will definitely book again.

The location was good. I couldn’t figure out how to use the taps for a hot shower, and I didn’t enjoy the long‑life milk for the coffee.

Great communication with Sarah and John; they were very accommodating, arranging a taxi from the airport after our very late flight into Cape Town. John waited for us and ensured we entered our rooms smoothly, answering all our questions with a personable touch. Breakfast was excellent—thanks to Sarah and John for being brilliant hosts. Nothing we didn't like!
