Having stayed at Poppy Annex before, I expected a lovely stay and I wasn’t disappointed. The apartment is light, spacious, stylish and comfortable, spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need for a short stay. I love the location in the pretty, historic village of Wellow, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk away from the two great village pubs! It is in such a beautiful spot, on the edge of the village, where you watch the birds, foxes and deer across the fields. Marie is so kind and helpful too. Excellent value for money and highly recommended. Nothing at all.

“Beautiful annexe”

The annexe was immaculate, comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. The road noise was unfortunate, but didn't spoil our stay

The property was clean, tidy, cosy and well put together. Such a lovely place to stay and just get away for a little while. Stunning views of the fields when looking out of the windows and Marie was so kind and accommodating! Will definitely stay again

A stunning, tastefully decorated place that felt just right for my needs; the owners clearly cared about presentation and comfort. The property was spotless, and the starter food pack along with extras like cosmetic pads and toiletries were a real plus. Despite a bit of traffic noise—though I'm very noise‑intolerant—I still found it very peaceful, hearing the gentle sounds of lambs and birds outside. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the nearby café, The Hay Barn, was a nice touch.
