The setting and staff are excellent, with a very warm welcome; the owner is always available and his wife prepares delicious traditional dishes and other well‑cooked specialties in the restaurant. The mattress is a bit soft and clearly old, not ideal for people with back problems, though it works fine for younger guests under 35, and the nearby jungle and river provide a beautiful backdrop but bring plenty of mosquitoes, which can be managed with a good repellent.

The lady boss was very helpful, pleasant and courteous. The price of the food served was very reasonable. No complaints.

Unique, cosy and very peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay here and a big thank you to our host for being so accommodating. More than worth the price!
