“Great Suite, Some Quirks”
The hotel's 3-bedroom suite was a great find, with plenty of space for our family - except for one tiny bedroom. The staff were incredibly helpful, arranging bookings and making our stay seamless. The breakfast was top-notch, and the views from our room were stunning. However, the washing machine room was a bit of a letdown, with a strong smell and some unwanted mosquito visitors. And that third bedroom? More like a converted closet with a sliding door.
“Disappointing Stay”
We were initially excited about our hotel stay, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. The breakfast was decent, but the hotel itself was a letdown - old and outdated, with a terrible location right next to a busy road. And don't even get me started on the air conditioning, which refused to turn off and ended up giving me a nasty cold. With a price tag of 500,000 won for 5 nights, I'd say we got ripped off.
“A Family Paradise”
Anantara Chaing Mai exceeded our wildest expectations - it was like a dream come true for our family of four. The hotel and staff catered to our every need, from arranging a fantastic driver (Pond) to providing the best breakfast we've ever had. We were blown away by the attention to detail and the sheer fun of it all. If you're traveling with kids, this is the place to be.
“Booking Nightmare”
I'm still fuming about my recent booking experience - I booked a room, only to be told a day later that I couldn't change it or cancel it. What kind of policy is that? Needless to say, I won't be using this booking platform again anytime soon.
“Excellent Location, Watch Out for Transport Costs”
This hotel's location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the action. But what really made our stay special was the incredible service from the staff - from the maids to the breakfast crew to the receptionist, everyone went above and beyond. However, be warned: the hotel's airport pickup service is a rip-off, charging a whopping 1000 baht when a taxi would've cost 150. We complained and they eventually offered a free round-trip, but still.
