Great location, beautiful rooms, and a lovely pool. The breakfast could have been better, and the service was mediocre.

“The benefits outweigh the little problems and we do keep returning as it suits us well.”

Conveniently located on the way to Calais, and perfect for traveling with a dog because the pet was welcomed and the room opened onto a garden with nice local walks. The bistro was very handy, parking was good, and the staff went out of their way to return an item I’d left in the room when I checked out. On the downside, there’s no place in the bathroom to put washbags, which feels awkward; a shelf or surface would help. Power points near the bed are scarce, and some walls in the spa building at ground level show dampness. It’s possibly a bit pricey.

The location is wonderful, the facilities are very good, the reception is very friendly and helpful, and the bar is also very accommodating; the breakfast needs improvement, the service is inattentive and slow, the two coffee machines are insufficient, coffee should be served at the table, and after ordering gluten‑free bread I had to ask three times, which is at least inappropriate for the price.

“Appréciation”

The view, the restaurants, the service, and the dishes at the bistro are excellent 👍✨. Our standard family room could use a dresser to store clothes. More information about the various reception areas within the property would be helpful, as there are several reception points for room bookings. Perhaps more brochures at the front desk about cultural activities around the hotel.
