The birdhouse is perfectly placed – you can stroll straight into Bruges’ centre, then retreat to a surprisingly quiet spot that felt like a little oasis. Outside there was a nice little lounge area and a fire‑pit that looked inviting, even though we never got around to using it.

The place was laid out beautifully – a cozy bedroom separate from a snug sitting area that felt warm and inviting. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the Market Square, with plenty of restaurants lining the route, and Steve was on hand whenever we needed anything, always attentive.
