“Un’oasi di tranquillità nel cuore di Ubud! ASSOLUTAMENTE CONSIGLIATO!”
We loved staying at KAUSALA Bisma Ubud. The property is surrounded by greenery and overlooks rice paddies, in a quiet spot only a few minutes’ walk from Ubud’s center. This mix of authenticity, peace, and convenience was what we enjoyed most. The staff were extremely kind and always ready to help. Breakfast, served outdoors with a view of the paddies, was a small pleasure: everything was prepared calmly and the coffee was freshly roasted. The yoga space and nearby laundry and massage services were very convenient. The value for money is excellent, especially given the location. Rather than a hotel, it felt like living in the real Ubud atmosphere for a few days. For us, the stay had a special meaning: 25 years ago we first came to Ubud, just the two of us; today we returned with our children. Finding such a calm, green spot in a city that has changed so much made the experience even more beautiful. The tropical humidity is noticeable, and in some areas, especially around the sinks and on certain surfaces, a deeper cleaning would make the place even more polished, but these are minor details that didn’t ruin our stay.
The location was great, but there was a slight leak in the bathroom.
The staff is great and the hotel sits in the center of Ubud with everything within reach, but it sits on a narrow street and at night a not‑so‑friendly dog randomly barks and runs behind you.
The place is well located, and the room was both comfortable and clean.
