The beach was close, but the place was dirty, rundown, and seemed to have been given a special to the landlord; there were no locks from the inside and it smelled awful.

Older properties have unavoidable noise, and I could hear every sound across the floor; the room or balcony could use a small table.

It’s a cute little place that feels trapped in time; the staff are kind and enthusiastic and we felt invited into someone’s home, and the view is great with no obstructions. The toilet didn’t flush properly, the kitchen was under‑equipped, and the lighting could have been improved— all the bulbs were Cool White (5000k). Replacing them with Soft White (2700k) instantly made it cozy.

The room by the sea was awesome; waking up and seeing the sea was a delight, and I loved sitting on the balcony and watching the waves. I would have liked a small table to eat on the balcony.
