“Central apartment with views over Kalkan Bay”
The location is great, right next to all the restaurants, shops, and just a 2‑minute walk to the (Stoney) beach with crystal‑clear warm water. The first‑floor apartment is spacious, with a double bed and ensuite, plus a living room that has a single bed and an open kitchen. The bay view is beautiful, though the balcony is messy and you can’t enter it. The shower is good. Everything looked tired: no soap or shampoo in the shower, no tea bags or coffee making facilities (or machine). For the price I paid, I expected those basics. Apart from a young man handing me the keys, the Wi‑Fi code was given on the arrival date, and I never saw anyone in or around the apartment. I understand it’s the end of the season (October), but one could expect better. A previous guest complained about the steep road to the apartment, but I found that unfair since the whole of Kalkan is made up of steep hills – just look at any picture. You can’t give it an extremely low rating because of being on a hill. It is right in the centre and not too noisy.
