“Was nice”

I loved the location and the amenities, but the kids next door were a bit loud, which was pretty funny.

The walkable spots around the hotel were great, and I didn’t encounter any issues.

“I would have walked out the first day if I didn’t prepay”

The place was very pricey, yet my room was left unclean, missing a clock, so I had to bring a 25‑year‑old home clock radio. They never delivered my coffee or replaced the towels, and when I extended my stay they tried to evict me, calling engineers to open the door.

“If you like golf then I’m sure you will like it but anyone else I wouldn’t”

The staff were the real highlight—everyone was friendly and very accommodating, and the restaurant B. staff made each meal a pleasure. The grounds were stunning, and the golf course was nice for golfers. However, the hotel feels outdated; the bathtub in my room was old with peeling at the bottom, the bathroom was tiny, and the lotion holder looked out of place and unappealing. I didn’t want to feel like I was staying somewhere where theft was normal. The bed was disappointing, hard, and the springs pressed into my back all night.

“A nice hotel with friendly staff and an excellent restuarant on site!”

We stayed in Oak Brook for a family wedding, looking for something nice, good value, and close to the venue; the corner room offered lovely views of the golf course, the shower had strong water pressure, and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast on Saturday before heading home. The staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The bed felt a bit stiff and the pillows weren’t as comfortable as we’d hoped, but we managed.
