The hotel was amazing and the staff were very helpful and friendly; we really enjoyed our stay. Nothing to add.

“Overall amazing!”

I was impressed with the hotel; the staff were great, very accommodating and helpful, and none of our requests were denied. The beach breakfast was satisfying and delicious. Because the hotel is small, privacy was abundant and we hardly saw anyone, which was perfect for us and our 5‑ and 2‑year‑olds, who rarely wore clothes or shoes. Special thanks to admin/receptionist Marfa. We will definitely come back. A small community kitchen would be great.

The room is very spacious and comfortable. The hotel sits inside the archaeological park, so every time you enter the park to go to the hotel you have to pay an entrance fee. If you want to go to the beach at Riviera Maia you need to be aware of the sargassum.

“Quel Dommage ; management à revoir vraiment !! Ma découverte du Mexique et de son peuple formidable !”

The hotel and its location are gorgeous, but the management is awful! I felt like a lemon that had to be squeezed before I left. The food, bar, and reception (except for receptionist Marta) were all bad, and the equipment available to guests was in terrible condition (a snorkel without a mask, a bike from the Maya era, etc.). They asked for tips and made mistakes on the bills. The service here is nothing like the other hotels in the city; it doesn't reflect the wonderful Mexican people at all. Mexico, yes; this hotel, no.
