Very well situated with a view of the Maar, nice wellness area, very good food.

The spot is great, close to nature and water, and getting in and out is a breeze; the staff were mostly friendly and flexible, though the reception wasn’t always there when I needed them, and the breakfast was solid. The rooms could use better soundproofing—neighbour’s TV is audible in the adjacent room—and smoking is allowed on the balcony even though the hotel is non‑smoking; with the weather we all kept our windows open.

The breakfast offered an incredibly varied plastic‑free selection, and the room décor used wonderful materials—especially in the new building, where the birthday table featured cake, wine, a candle, a letter, and table décor. The dog‑friendly policy was evident in practice. The street noise from the balcony was unavoidable, the mushroom portion in the “Semmelknödel mit Pfifferlingen” was tiny, yet the dish was still tasty; the young breakfast waiter seemed overwhelmed and would benefit from tighter guidance.
