The front desk team was exceptional and the room was wonderful, making for an excellent stay. The roof terrace and breakfast service were added bonuses.

I’ve traveled a lot and I believe Verride was at least on my top 3 hotels in life. The room is absolutely amazing, wide space, with great assortment of pillows and very comfortable bed. The breakfast is unbelievable, with a unique concept of 5 step menu chosen by the chef everyday. Staff is really kind and helpful at all times. The location and hotel facilities in general were great but it is hard to want to leave your room. I missed a gym, but I have been told they have plans to build one in the future. The shower box does not contain the water properly so it splashed to the bathroom but it’s promptly cleaned by staff everyday

“Ok”

The property is beautiful and the staff were wonderful, but the air conditioning was either broken or simply off for the season, leaving our room unbearably warm. The team was friendly and even brought us a fan, yet they should have compensated us with wine or a discount, or at least mentioned that AC is only available in certain months. We arrived in March when Lisbon can be hot, and driving to the hotel was a nightmare because the street was hard to locate; clearer directions are needed. Breakfast was decent but a tasting menu that can take an hour, so plan accordingly. The room was nicely decorated and the steam shower was a highlight.

“Beautiful and romantic getaway”

During my stay at this luxurious hotel, I was absolutely delighted to discover that it's situated within an ancient palace that has been beautifully restored and transformed into a stunning accommodation. My room was immaculately maintained, and the breathtaking views from the rooftop bar left me speechless. While I did feel that the price was a bit steep, the exceptional service, spacious room, and unparalleled comfort, along with the stunning vistas, made it well worth the investment.

I was impressed by the hotel's great location, beautiful design, and comfortable bedding. The spa also offered a fantastic massage experience. However, there were some issues with the bathroom, including very uncomfortable mixers and a shower that was not user-friendly. The room on the second floor had windows that were right next to the staircase, making it impossible to open them without being disturbed by tourists passing by. The lack of lighting in the room was also a problem.
