Jack and Odile welcomed us warmly; their beautiful city home boasts a large rear garden and a secure parking area at the back, our room was adequate, average size with a small ensuite, and tea‑coffee facilities; we could walk into the city to see lovely buildings and many bars and restaurants, and breakfast was good. Initially we had a bad impression of the area, but that quickly changed—Évreux is a nice place to visit.
