The staff were exceptional, helping us find a scooter, storing our luggage, and recommending great restaurants; the cheesecake they serve is excellent, and I doubt I’ll find a friendlier team anywhere in Thailand. I only managed to eat one piece of cheesecake.

Clean and with a good atmosphere, but the staff were unhelpful: they claimed the lights were broken, made strange gestures, then told us to move rooms, told us to tidy up, turned off the lights, handed us the key, and turned away as if we were bothering them.
