Holiday Inn Express Kitty Hawk - Outer Banks by IHG

The staff was very friendly, Emily helped me when I had an issue, I was at the mudbog at Dennis Anderson Motor Sport Park, it got cancelled because of rain and I couldn’t get into the room until 4 pm; once I called, Emily worked on finding me a room and had one ready, so she really looked out for me.

“This experience was exactly what I needed to reset after a great summer and heading into the fall.”

I stayed here before, so I came back; the location near restaurants, shopping and especially the beach was ideal, and the hotel offers breakfast and a gym which was perfect for me traveling alone; I have no complaints.

“Zu empfehlen”

Friendly staff, very good check‑in, the breakfast was fine for American standards, the location near the beach was very good; unfortunately plastic cutlery is still used for breakfast, which isn’t sustainable and we’ve seen better in other hotels of the same standard, and the air‑conditioning was very loud.

“Great staff, location and highly recommended accommodations”

The location is central to almost any attraction and just a 3‑minute walk to the beach; the staff are friendly and professional and the breakfast is good, but the rooms could provide slightly more comfortable seating.

I liked the location, but everything felt too plastic.
