The staff were great, the food tasty, and the views were stunning. I knew the private bathroom wasn’t attached, but it was just across the hall and spotless. My room had a sink for brushing teeth. Hiking was easy right from the hotel, and breakfast had eggs made to order plus a coffee machine. The terrace view was so gorgeous that my dog refused to leave the car—she just lay on the grass and stared at the valley and mountains.

Breakfast was top-notch; on request we got scrambled eggs with bacon freshly cooked. The chef was very friendly and helpful, even arranging a birthday sing‑along for my daughter.
