I arrived to a fresh, spotless room and learned the hotel only opened in January 2026. The chill was intense, so my granddaughter turned on the heater, which had probably never run before and emitted a hot, almost burning odor. We called the Front Desk, and they immediately moved us to a different room—handled promptly.

The hotel staff messed up my booking and I only discovered it at check‑in. They couldn’t simply adjust my nightly stay to the correct date, so I had to pay out of pocket for that night and was promised a refund for the cancellation on the mistakenly booked date. I never received the refund. I essentially paid for an extra night for no reason, and both My Place and the hotel never resolved the issue after I called them. Both parties admitted the problem but told me to contact the other side. After trusting them for several trips, I was disappointed by the lackluster effort to fix the situation.
