Breakfast was well‑equipped, the coffee was good, and there were homemade preserves and eggs on request. The scent diffuser in the hallway was too overpowering—artificial smell, sorry, not our thing.

The lady was very friendly and the breakfast was tasty, and it’s close to Maasmechelen Village and walking areas. The dog is a bit skittish, but he stays on a leash, and the lady was very kind to our puppy.

The B&B had a pleasant location as a base for various cycling routes, right by the beautiful terrils and the lovely bike bridge. The B&B had a breakfast room that almost resembled a hotel, very luxurious. The staff were very friendly. The bathroom had no window and became quickly stuffy, so even the clean towels had an unpleasant smell – that’s definitely an area for improvement.
