Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order with a good selection of buffet items, and there were plenty of friendly, helpful staff present throughout. The only downside was the lack of a restaurant on Sunday night.

Parking was convenient, but the noise at night was so loud that I barely slept—there should be a warning in the listing.

The front desk staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, but the bar staff were not. After coming back from the theatre, we stopped for a nightcap and the bartender said she was about to finish her shift and clearly didn’t want to work overtime. She also had no ice because she’d already thrown it away while closing up. The bar area felt more like a corridor than a cozy spot, yet aside from that we still enjoyed the evening.

There was plenty of hot water in the wash basin and the shower. The linen napkins were beautifully presented. The food at the dinner night was very well cooked and presented. The Car Park was a bit disorganised, no clear instructions on leaving or directions for the exit. Not being very good on my feet I felt unsafe in the shower as there was nothing to hold on to for my stability. I was disappointed that for £80+ breakfast was a £15.00 extra charge

We liked that the hotel is close to the shopping centre and the Plymouth theatres, but the restaurant shut its kitchens at 5 pm, so guests couldn’t get dinner. The bar also refused to serve drinks to residents at 11 pm, shut the shutters, and left, so people coming back from town were left without a drink.
