I didn’t get breakfast, and the room was just fine. The noise from upstairs and the parking lot was annoying, and after getting off the interstate I couldn’t locate the hotel because the sign was dark and the building was hidden behind other shops. Check‑in took longer than expected, the bed sheets felt stiff and scratchy, and there was no extra blanket. I also realized the hotel was farther from Lenoir‑Rhyne campus than I thought; I should have checked the address more closely.

The exterior was surprising—far from the condition inside. The room itself was clean, beautiful, and pleasant, probably one of the best I’ve rented recently. It was spotless—no odors at all.

My room had plenty of space and didn’t feel cramped. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was hot; I even got three pillows because it was a king. The shower helped relax my muscles after a tough shift. I had to request trash removal, fresh towels, and laundry service; the staff said I had to take out my own trash, but when I returned the room had been cleaned and new towels and washcloths were in place. I also had to haul my suitcase up and down the stairs since the rooms only have external access, so next time I’d ask for a ground‑floor room.
