“Great location like a trip back in time”

It’s like traveling back in time, let’s say rustic; I think I slept on my mattress once before back in the late sixties at a Motel 6 in Bakersfield. The shower curtain has that just right sun‑baked texture crispy to the touch—I would still stay there again just because of its location. Old dated furnishings, hard mattress, crispy shower curtain. There are lights above each bed but they are bright enough to light up the whole room; not much difference between the main light fixtures. Something a little softer and more focused on one bed instead of the whole room.

Location only. Everything was terrible—nothing worked at all, the doors were hard to close; it was best not to even touch the bathroom door. The only thing that actually worked was the sink faucet. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Bishop accommodations.”

The room was clean. It had the normal outside noise, which subsided around 9 PM, and that’s been my normal experience when I’m traveling. It was quiet all night, but thank goodness for the blackout curtains. Very close, walkable, to food and coffee. With a couple of gas stations right across the street. The gentleman inside the office could have been a little friendlier.
