The area is nice, the beds are very comfortable, and the room is a good size. Unfortunately, the bathroom sink was cracked, the shower screen was moldy and dirty, and there was only one bedside lamp. The gym we used last time has since closed.

The wedding event itself was excellent. The room, however, wasn’t very clean; the carpet had stains and didn’t match what was advertised.

The building looked stunning in a great setting, and its location was perfect for a night’s stop while heading south from Northumberland. Every staff member was professional, especially Pam and her colleague at reception. The breakfast offered a solid variety to choose from. However, our room wasn’t ready when we checked in, likely because housekeeping was having some trouble. Pam kindly gave us a complimentary drink with dinner, which we appreciated. The beds felt far too firm for my liking.
