The hotel sits in a lovely spot near the A1, and the evening meal and breakfast were great, offering good value for money; the family room was a good size. We did hit a road closure on arrival, so a heads‑up would have helped since we had to detour.

Staff were nice and friendly, the location was good, and the rooms were sizeable; the food was solid, with the lasagne being the best I’ve had in a long time – highly recommend, thanks.

The staff were very friendly and the pub food was good; the location made it easy to reach Lindisfarne and other spots. The TV wouldn’t tune in, someone fixed it but the issue came back and we gave up; the shower wasn’t as powerful as it could be, but I’d return because the staff were lovely.

The accommodations were basic, clean, and functional, with an excellent high‑pressure shower, and the convenient location gave easy access to Holy Island and the coast, making the stay a very good value overall. The room was booked as a “Deluxe,” yet the amenities and space felt more like a standard room, and the breakfast quality could be improved to match the rest of the experience.

The room and bathroom were spacious, and the bed was huge and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent, with a hearty breakfast to start the day. Nothing negative to mention.
