It was so noisy that I was awakened by workers, who even entered my room while I tried to sleep to work on electrical issues; I couldn’t get out in the morning, and the cost was not worth it – I paid a lot for no sleep and will never stay here again.

It was acceptable for a single night, and for what I needed it worked, but I wouldn’t stay longer; the room was fine, with a large shower and bathroom, yet no staff appeared at any point and there was no breakfast.

The place was really nice and well appointed, but the location opposite a pub and all-night shops made me feel uneasy arriving alone at 10 pm, and I had to wait for someone to bring the key, so I didn’t feel safe as an older single woman.

Good value for money, just around the corner from the rail station, and the owners were flexible, but constant noise from neighbouring rooms—unrelated to the owners—was a problem; a few house rules might help.

The check‑in was free‑flowing and the managers were quick to provide information, and overall I couldn’t find any faults for what I needed.
