We had a pleasant stay thanks to the friendly welcome, clean and comfortable rooms, and the ability to walk straight into the forest after leaving the hotel; the Wi‑Fi worked well in the rooms, lunch was excellent, and parking was plentiful—every arrival we found a free spot—so I’d gladly recommend this place.

The breakfast and the restaurant dishes were excellent, and the room was tidy. Parking was ample. However, a big trash bin stood right in front of the balcony, and the restaurant was infested with banana flies.

A solid choice for business travelers who only need a few nights, and the transport links to Freiburg are convenient. The facilities felt somewhat basic and dated, and the restaurant was shut down, forcing us to dine at the hotel across the street.
