The menu offered plenty of choices and the quality was very good; nothing to complain about. The room was lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was great to see the team enjoying themselves with each other.

The location was excellent—quiet but not too remote, and the sleep quality was superb. My favorite part was the calm ocean and beach view from the room, the balcony was large and spacious, and the staff were enthusiastic and considerate. I was especially impressed when the front desk offered to bring breakfast to our room on the last day because we had to leave early and couldn't eat at the usual breakfast time; they coordinated with the kitchen to deliver it on time and the service was flawless. The only minor drawback was the lack of an elevator, so you have to move luggage yourself or ask staff for help.

The staff were lovely and we had direct access to the beach. The pool could have been cleaner; it had algae that was slippery and milky, so I had to use more chemicals to treat it.

The view of the volcano and sunset was incredible. The food was great, and the staff—especially Bintang, Erna, Komang, Mr. Agung, and everyone else at reception and the restaurant—went above and beyond to make my wife’s surprise unforgettable, and I really appreciated their help. The only downside was that there weren’t enough beds around the pool, and you need a taxi to get around Nusa Penida because the roads are bad and not suitable for scooters or walking.
