In March 2026, during the high season of the island with the “Tsubaki Festival” ending, I stayed for one night. The building seems quite old, but the interior was clean. The room I stayed in was a tatami room, a good size for three middle‑aged men. The bath felt like a normal family bathroom, very clean and pleasant. Nearby, there was a chain liquor store with a manager on site, where we could drink and buy light snacks. So even though there were few shops nearby, it didn’t feel inconvenient. What was most appreciated was the staff’s excellent handling when we were in a difficult situation with dinner (or rather drinking). Because I left early the next morning, I couldn’t thank them in person, so I’m saying it here… thank you very much! The surrounding area has interesting shops (like a tasty ramen shop), so a half‑day stroll would be enjoyable.
