“A lovely small B&B that lets you unplug by the swimming pool”
A lovely family‑owned B&B, perfect for unplugging and relaxing. We enjoyed an excellent week‑long stay in old (18th‑century?) buildings that have been nicely renovated. The breakfast, prepared by wonderful hosts, was delicious, and they offered great suggestions for local visits and activities. The pool saved us during the heat wave, and the location is great for exploring nearby communes. The heat wave was tough because there’s no air‑con (as with most French historic houses). Wifi works only near the terrace downstairs and parts of the garden; mobile reception is only by the windows—great for unplugging. You can’t reach the place without a car. Small apartments lack a fridge (only the big apartment has one), though the hosts kindly offer to store your food in theirs. None of the apartments have a kitchen, so if you plan to cook or store food, think twice!
