The interior was spotless and felt very clean, with the calm woodwork and muted colour scheme being especially pleasing. The food showcased plenty of local ingredients and tasted great, and the staff were kind and really helped us out. However, because I’m used to sleeping on a bed, dealing with a futon was a bit of a hassle and left me feeling exhausted.

The view was stunning and the hot‑spring area carried a lovely cedar scent. The only downside was the smoke coming from the kitchen.

It was an absolutely wonderful inn, with attention to detail that truly moved me. The stylish design, gorgeous scenery and flawless cleanliness everywhere impressed me, and the onsen was superb for a relaxing soak. The meals were traditional Japanese cuisine, all delicious, generous in portion and left me completely satisfied. The owner was warm and kind, offering heartfelt hospitality. I can’t wait to stay again—thank you so much.

I had an excellent dining experience at this hotel, and the private onsen was a lovely touch. However, the rooms and bath areas were plagued by a significant number of bugs, which might have been due to the season. Despite this, the hotel's amenities and services were top-notch.

The atmosphere at this hotel was truly superb, with incredibly helpful and kind staff. The food was also brilliant, and I was impressed by the value for money. The sauna room was a nice bonus, and the view from my room overlooking the lake was simply breathtaking. However, I did find the location a bit tricky to navigate.
