The location and facilities are great, and the atmosphere feels warm. The mattresses in the pod are quite hard, and we didn’t have airbeds.

“Wonderful apartment extremely comfortable with a fantastic view. Hosts were amazing”

The holiday one‑bedroom apartment surpassed our expectations. The living‑room view over the valley was spectacular, especially with the early‑morning mist. The hosts were friendly and chatted a lot about the area and their family‑handed‑down house. The apartment had everything we needed, and the furniture and beds were very comfortable. A full‑size bath with a shower over is a rare find. When our taxi couldn’t reach the train station, the host kindly drove us there—very kind. Nothing else to add.

“Nice cosy cabin, nothing provided so more of a (warmer) camping experience than a proper cabin stay”

A lovely spot up in the hills, truly beautiful. Everything was clean and well arranged, the firewood was generous for the price, and the owners were helpful. The nights were cozy thanks to underfloor heating. It feels more like a camping trip because nothing was provided—bedding was only given after we requested it, and the owners seemed a bit reluctant. There were no cooking facilities, even though the listing claimed a kitchenette, so we couldn’t make tea. With only two bathrooms, we had to wait a few times; it would be worse in peak season.

“Great staff, beautiful place.”

The staff were warm and welcoming. Gemma kindly left us tea bags and milk for the morning, since I hadn’t prepared to cook in the small communal kitchen. She was a perfect host. The place is gorgeous, and I’d love to return with the kids for a longer stay in the larger pod. We were two adults in a “family” pod meant for up to five, so we had to set up a super‑king bed on the floor with our own bedding. We’re tall, so there was just enough room to stand and shuffle, but it was still hard floor and less comfortable than a tent.
