Gateway Inn

“Good value. Clean rooms, new heat and air conditioning unit made for a comfortable stay.”

The waffle maker, yogurt, and cereal outshined the continental breakfast, and the coffee was decent. However, the parking lot was dark and the lights were off.

I booked this place to attend a wedding but it was absolutely disgusting and smelled horrible, so I left without ever staying. The lack of current information and accurate pictures on the listing is shameful. I’m now questioning whether I’ll use this site again and have disputed the charge with my credit card company.

“It served a purpose in a last minute situation.”

They were available when we were in a bad situation over the weekend, and when the room next door started banging on the walls, the lady on duty that night was right there to talk with them. I didn’t like that there were no working phones in the room; I had to go online to find the front desk number to fix a problem with our neighbors. The cleaning lady left a used towel hanging behind the bathroom door from a previous stay, which was annoying, and there was a big burn on the carpet by the bathroom. The price for two nights in a room like this was almost $400, which I think is crazy!

“The most horrific hotel I’ve ever been to.”

I needed a refund, but the location was disgusting, the staff was bad, and the room was gross. I checked in via Skype, which feels unsafe, and they refused to give me a refund. Everything was terrible; the staff wasn’t helpful, strange men were hanging out outside, and the police showed up while we were there.

“Awful”

Nothing. They cancelled our room last minute even though we booked the room weeks in advance. They also did it over text. Very unprofessional. Will not recommend to anyone. In fact I recommend staying far away
