The place was spotless, but if you’re hunting for a beachside stay this isn’t it; the small beach just 10 minutes away was filthy with litter and dirty water, and the farther back beach you’d need a taxi for, though it was better, not walkable.

The breakfast was actually really great, with a wide selection of both Western and Asian dishes. The staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to lend a hand when needed. However, I was really disappointed with the room situation - I booked a Superior room with a king-size bed at PETRO HOUSE block A, but when I arrived, block A was closed for renovations.
