The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the dinner buffet was just as good. The gym and wellness facilities were nice, and the staff were very attentive. Public transport to Lueneburg is awful, so you really need a car.

Super wellness hotel; everything was available from the spa area to the bike garage. Nothing in particular stood out.

“Spa type of hotel, good restaurant, breakfast and buffet.”

This place feels more like a spa than a hotel for travelers. It has saunas, a small indoor pool, a formal restaurant, and an all‑you‑can‑eat buffet. The setting mixes old and new buildings nicely. The staff were fine, but not overly friendly. There’s a bike storage room with outlets for e‑bike charging. It was a bit pricey, but otherwise there were no problems.

“Alles wird teurer, versteckte Kosten... schade!”

The staff were friendly, the facilities were good, and the breakfast was also good! Unfortunately, since our last stay a lot has gotten worse. The hotel has become noticeably more expensive, and things that used to be included now cost extra. A €5 parking fee, €10 for a bathrobe (not a deposit), and the room service with fresh towels is no longer a given. If you miss the small note on the mirror and don’t explicitly request the service, you’ll wait in vain. Maybe it’s better that way – you start to wonder if the towel change costs €10 too. 😉 For corporate clients whose invoices are forwarded anyway, these little extras probably don’t matter much. As private travellers, you definitely notice them. It’s a shame, because we were here before and it’s obvious that higher prices come with cuts in service. This trend makes the stay much less pleasant.
