Angola Motel

The place was infested with roaches and was dirty and disgusting.

The TV and VHS were too loud, and the Wi‑Fi was weak.

“Overall good place”

It was a bit outdated but very clean and offered a great price.

“Its fine for a low cost budget type of motel.”

I stayed at a cheap motel near the boat launch we used for fishing on Lake Erie, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The place was not very clean; I couldn't understand why they didn't put more effort into tidying the rooms. It was almost comically dirty. I was on a fishing trip with a friend, so we didn't mind, but if I were to come with my family it would have been a problem and we would have left. On the first night a couple left and loudly complained about the room's cleanliness. The staff could have fixed the dirtiness with a vacuum and light cleaning supplies. The room had nothing that made me feel unsafe health‑wise or with bedbugs. It's just dirty. That said, I would stay here again for a fishing trip because it's cheap and the location was right for us. The staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. I don't think anyone should expect much for a $60 a night room. I'm not writing this to stop people from coming; I'm writing so that unexpected customers won't be caught off guard. It's a low‑cost budget place and that's fine. You get what you pay for. If you want something nice and fancy you have to pay a lot more. If you aren't picky and just want a simple place to sleep for a great price, this is a good option. I'll see you next year, Angola Motel. Thank you.

The price was good, the room was old but everything worked, though the bottom sheet was not fitted.
