“Felt like Provence: a mix of beauty and connection with nature”

The spot is superb, right in the middle of the Apuseni Mountains, with a large yard that offers a spectacular mountain view. The staff are very hospitable, and you can easily access local food, culture, and famous caves like Scarisoara, plus other breathtaking natural sites. The rooms are spotless and come with several amenities, including two shared kitchens, a dining room, and a living room. The house is quiet, making it a great way to connect with the local lifestyle and try local dishes. I can't think of any negatives; we just fell in love with the property.

“Perfect for hikers.”

We decided to extend our vacation by a day at this place. It’s a perfect mountain village surrounded by amazing caves, and the cottage feels very authentic. The stairs are scary and you can bump your head in nasty ways, but the owners don’t hide any flaws and the atmosphere is exactly what it should be, with a shared kitchen and living room. There’s a grilling area in the garden. Honestly, the review is higher because it was much cheaper than any other spot, but it’s heaven for hikers and probably a solid 4 for people who just want to stay home and watch TV. The oven doesn’t get hot, and the bathroom in the roof apartment is minuscule.

The cottage is very nice with a spectacular view and has almost everything you might need for a great stay in the Apuseni mountains. The bathroom was quite small.

The place was very quiet. The mountain scenery was wonderful, and the natural village environment was great. We were pleased to be the only ones in the house, which let us enjoy the spaciousness and peace.

The scenery is beautiful, the cabin is clean, and the cabin is well equipped compared to many other much more expensive guesthouses. Minor issues that cause unnecessary noise could be easily fixed: the bathroom door in one room got stuck because the latch wasn’t tight, another bathroom door in a different room closed hard, and the glass door at the cabin entrance was stuck. I also recommend a rigorous treatment of the wooden carpentry against rot, which was starting to bother the upper floors 😅
