“Disappointing stay”

The location was good, but the room was very disappointing. There were many visible stains on the carpet, one curtain was missing from the window letting in early morning light, and the corridor was noisy.

The spot was spot on, but the first room we got was a mess—dust everywhere, a few holes in the carpet, and trash on the floor. After we mentioned it, they switched us to a cleaner room, though the shower still needed a bit more cleaning.

“Come for the hotel, not the leisure facilities.”

The room and staff were solid, the dinner in the evening was tasty, and the location was convenient. Breakfast fell short, but the real disappointment was the leisure area: the gym was filthy with dusty equipment, the changing rooms had grime on the floors, walls, and showers, and the pool’s pH was so off it felt like acid in your eyes. Watching the staff scrub the poolside and then dump the dirty water straight into the deck drains was shocking. The steam room and sauna were in such bad shape that after using the steam room I felt like I’d been covered in other people’s hair; the grout was clogged with hair and the smell was awful, all coated in body fat and sweat. It’s hard to imagine anyone relaxing there.

“Accogliente”

Ottima struttura e personale molto gentile, ma sembra che il tempo abbia un po’ preso il sopravvento. Ogni notte suonava l’allarme antincendio in tutto l’edificio, quasi come una sveglia, e quando chiesi spiegazioni alla reception mi dissero che scattava perché qualche cliente fuma in camera. Mi è sembrato un po’ assurdo.
