“Not my type of home”
The apartment was clean, had nearby parking, and the host was flexible with check‑in after my midnight flight; every room had a good air conditioner and I got quick answers to my questions. The photos on Booking look better than the actual rooms: one is a double bed room with no window, the other has two single couch‑beds and blankets without covers. The kitchen was basic and not in great shape, with little cutlery, a warm water dispenser but no kettle. Cooking there isn’t recommended. The yard was poorly maintained and not inviting. Every time we entered or left, a dog barked loudly from the balcony above. We missed daylight because the only window was in the kitchen with no view. There were three locked doors to private rooms, and the shower was in a walk‑through area that leaked into the bedroom whenever we showered. The bathroom sink was tiny, so we used the kitchen sink instead. I didn’t take photos because this isn’t the kind of apartment I’d want to remember.
